Discreetly Straighten Your Smile With Invisalign®
Your smile is the first thing people notice, and it leaves a lasting impression. We have the perfect solution if you’re looking to straighten your smile discreetly. At Grundy Center Family & Implant Dentistry, Dr. Weaver, an Invisalign® certified provider, offers Invisalign as an alternative to uncomfortable metal braces.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is a revolutionary orthodontic treatment that can straighten your smile without traditional metal braces, brackets, and wires. Invisalign is a series of customized clear aligner trays that straighten your teeth into the desired position. It is an easier and less-expensive alternative to traditional braces.
Benefits of Invisalign
- Customized treatment plan
- Comfortable
- Discreet
- Removable
Candidacy for Invisalign
Dr. Weaver may recommend Invisalign for patients looking to correct teeth that are:
- Crooked
- Misaligned
- Spaced or gapped
- Crowded
Crowding or misalignment make it challenging to clean and maintain your teeth. A healthy, properly-aligned bite is much easier to maintain and contributes to overall health in a positive way.
The Invisalign Process
1. Initial Consultation
During your consultation with Dr. Weaver, he’ll evaluate your oral health. Scans and x-rays will be taken. These records will be used to create your customized aligner trays and ensure a feasible, healthy course of treatment.
2. Wearing Your Aligners
Once you and Dr. Weaver have approved your treatment plan, you will be ready to begin Invisalign treatment. You’ll wear your aligners for at least 22 hours daily to ensure a successful treatment. You can remove your aligners to eat, drink, and clean your mouth. It’s crucial to clean both your mouth and aligners before inserting them back into your mouth to eliminate any unhealthy bacteria.
Frequently Asked Questions

With Invisalign, it’s normal for patients to experience soreness as they get used to wearing their clear aligners. However, any pain should fade away in a few days.
